Adam Beyer Decides To ‘Teach Me,’ And You, About Techno
Adam Beyer - Teach Me (Original Mix) [Drumcode]
Adam Beyer - Darlek (Original Mix) [Drumcode]
Adam Beyer - Stop Talking (Original Mix) [Drumcode]

Techno fans rejoice: we just got our hands on Drumcode boss Adam Beyer’s new four-track Teach Me EP, his first solo EP of 2014.

In somewhat of a departure from his typical dark and relentless releases of the past, the Teach Me EP features a deeper, more progressive sound. The title track, which is perhaps the hardest song of the bunch, opens with a series of ominous chords before a pounding vocal kick jumpstarts the party. Darlek, on the other hand, feels like something out of a John Digweed podcast. Continuing the trend of new wave techno is Stop Talking, an odd and interesting number that is host to a bevy of weird noises. The final track on the EP, Spaceman, is a funky daytime cut teeming with heaps of sub-bass, a groovy vocal, and thumping percussion.
