A$AP Rocky & Baauer Start A ‘Riot Rave’

That pretty motherf*cker A$AP Rocky has teamed up with fellow Harlem Shaker Baauer for RIOT RAVE, a syrupy-slow hip hop track set to be featured on Rocky’s forthcoming instrumental Beauty N the Bea$t: Slowed Down Sessions Chapter 1 mixtape.

Rocky is no stranger to the world of EDM: one of the hottest tracks on last year’s debut record Long.Live.A$AP was Wild For The Night, which boasted production credits from Skrillex, and last week saw the release of the rapper’s techno-hop collaboration In Distress with Gesaffelstein.

RIOT RAVE is about as bare-bones as a hip hop track can get, but it shines as the soundtrack to the accompanying guerrilla-marketing video, in which a so-called “flash mob” of A$AP fans (all decked out in threads from the A$AP crew’s new VLone clothing line) descend upon SoHo in Lower Manhattan to riot in celebration of Rocky’s Slowed Down Sessions tape.
