A-Trak & Tommy Trash - Tuna Melt (Original Mix) [Fool's Gold]

With a reputation of being one of the most sought after DJs in the world, Fool’s Gold co-owner A-Trak returns to the dance circuit with his tastiest release to date. Tuna Melt is a four track, collaborative effort spanning the entire musical spectrum with appearances by Australian madman Tommy Trash, up-and-coming trap and garage duo GTA, Swedish trio Galantis and Los Angeles’ Oliver. Regardless of your favorite genre, Tuna Melt offers a handful of diverse tunes that will satisfy any musical taste bud.

The title track features a monstrous collaboration alongside Tommy Trash. The synth work screams Trash, but A-Trak brings his world-renowned finesse and an array of vocal blips to put this tune amongst the best of 2012. Landline is the brainchild of A-Trak and duo Van Toth and JWLS, better known as GTA. They deliver their rendition of a trap bomb and manage to succeed with ease. Disco Nap with Los Angeles’ own Vaughn Oliver & Oliver Goldstein is anything but napping material. With a driving bassline and a unique compilation of synths, the trio challenges Tuna Melt as the EP’s most lethal tune. Wrapping up the EP is Jumbo, an electronic collaboration with Galantis. A-Trak delivers an up-beat banger alongside Style Of Eye, Carli and Christian Karlsson to put the finishing touch on an exceptionally balanced electronic EP.
