Fool’s Gold boss A-Trak and Harlem-born rapper Cam’ron cliqued up once again for Dipsh*ts, the follow-up to January’s collab Humphrey.
When together, A-Trak and Cam’ron go by the name Federal Reserve, and The Feds had help from Cam’ron’s hip hop crew The Diplomats, namely Julez Santana on the chorus, and Federal Reserve executive producer Dame Dash with a closing statement.
The beat comes from the collective minds of A-Trak, Oliver, and Just Blaze, and contrasts sky-high synth tones with grimey guitar riffs over a bass- and snare-driven beat.
Director Ricky Saiz paints a picture of Dipset’s home of Harlem with the video starring Cam’ron, Santana, and a host of other established local community members.
The track is taken from A-Trak and Cam’ron’s Federal Reserve EP, out soon on FG/Poppington/Dipset.
One of the busiest bodies in music, A-Trak also turned in a twisting, turning twerk tune in collaboration with bass beasts Milo & Otis and Rich Kidz, titled Out The Speakers. Listen above, and pre-order the single on iTunes here.
