Clockwork is a producer who, track in and track out, just brings it. When he’s not dropping trap bombs as his alias RL Grime, he’s melting faces with some of the dirtiest electro anywhere. His latest release, the Titan EP, features two huge original tracks that are perfect to get any party going. The tracks are tightly produced, memorable, and feature a uniquely futuristic approach to big room dance music–something of a must in today’s crowded electro scene.
Titan’s title track is a big room-style anthem that grows and grows until it finally explodes. A growling, rumbling bassline pairs up with a catchy melody; this is a track that you will definitely be playing more than once. BBBS is the B-side of the EP, but I’d argue it’s even better than the A-side. It’s a tour-de-force banger with a vocal drop that you will not be forgetting anytime soon. All I can say is, be prepared for the “Big Bad Bassline Sound.” With a recent remix of Zedd’s Spectrum with A-Trak and tracks on Dim Mak and Mad Decent, if you don’t know Clockwork already, your time is ticking.
