A State Of 2012
Gareth Emery - Tokyo (Ben Gold Remix) [Garuda]
John O'Callaghan - Stresstest (John Askew Remix) [Armada]
Orjan Nilsen - Endymion (Original Mix) [Armind]

It’s that time of year again; with 51 weeks worth of releases still reverberating across the globe, people are looking forward to what 2013 will bring. In the meantime, Armada has released their now-traditional ASOT Yearmix, perfect for re-living the best trance moments of the year during a long drive home for Christmas or as part of a New Years party (assuming your party is awesome enough).

With so much to choose from, it must have been a gargantuan task to whittle the best 2012 had to offer into a single compilation–the finished product runs at a hundred tracks in length. And what a tracklist it is; with artists ranging from Orjan Nilsen, Jaytech, Gareth Emery, Rank 1, Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, Lange, W&W, Andrew Bayer, and Markus Schulz, to name a few, it’s the full range of trance from the past year, complete with moments of progressive, tech, and even a bit of electro.

The ASOT 2012 Yearmix is out now via iTunes, including all 100 individual tracks as well as two 1-hour “continuous mixes.” For those who are fans of physical copies, a double CD is also available via the Armada shop. 2013 is already shaping up to be an exciting year, with various releases already in the cards, but if this compilation is anything to go by, 2012 will be a hard one to beat.
